The open-air exhibition consists of seven 19th century rural buildings of Augšzeme region: a residential house, a grain barn, a small barn, a threshing barn, a forge, a windmill and a bathhouse. The courtyard, architecture and layout of buildings reflect the craft and construction skills of ancient Selonians. The museum is a place to try different countryside works: grinding, spinning and forging.
